The Equity Alliance celebrates the historic confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the newest Supreme Court Justice.
Her accomplishments, qualifications and accolades speak to her being rightly fit for the role. Yet, that didn't stop those who opposed her confirmation, including Tennessee's mega-raggedy U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn, from showing their complete behinds and full decks of good ol' boy racist, sexist, nonsensical tactics.
Nevertheless, SHE'S CONFIRMED!
So where's the party at? Folks hosted inauguration parties for President Obama and rocked pearls and Chucks for Vice President Kamala Harris.
What do y'all think we should do to celebrate Justice Jackson's summertime swearing in?

Additionally, the group's Starfruit Community Series will highlight a local organization that is walking the walk, talking the talk and doing the doggone work.
Yours truly has been selected and our Communications Director Jessica Williams will be in conversation with host and award-winning journalist Sofiya Ballin.
